The following is the exact account of what happened on that night......

This happened between 7:55pm and 8:20pm on the 7th October in 1997.

Basically what happened was that my partner and I were leaving her Mother's house on Grammer School Road, Hull when we saw 3 bright, white lights moving in a horizontal line just above house/tree top level. The 3rd light, the one farthest away to the left as we looked at it, caught up the middle light and then the shape somehow revolved and formed into a triangle. It then moved silently in the traditional Flying Triangle shape towards the North West.

We jumped in the car and followed it up Bricknell Avenue, all the time the craft was moving slowly and silently to my left, just above the tree top/house level. My partner was driving and I wound the window down and had a perfect view all the way along Bricknell Avenue and into Cottingham. It was visible all the time and its body was jet black, we drove along New Village Road up Harland Way and across the by-pass into Skidby. We had brilliant views of it and when the road turned out of Skidby towards Little Weighton it must have accelerated as we lost it totally. We turned around/back along that road. There were three white lights at each tip with a full black body in the middle, no markings whatsoever and it was totally silent.

When we got home I immediately rang Humberside Airport who didn't want to know and they advised me to ring the Duty Manager at RAF Waddington. A guy on duty took my details and if I remember rightly he said that this was not the first call that they had taken that night. I still have the original piece of paper at home with my drawing of what we saw plus the phone numbers I rang! This was confirmed as a mass sighting on both banks of the Humber and witnessess such as fireman and policemen had also reported it.
