I received a phone call from an lady in her 60's, who wished to remain anonymous telling me about a sighting she had LAST SUMMER (2000). She explained............

"I saw your advertisement in the Hull Daily Mail and I just had to tell someone who would believe me, what I had seen. It was a bright light, Diamond shaped. It wasn't a plane or a star. There was no noise or flashing lights. After weeks of ridicule from friends and family, a month later me and my friends saw it again, exactly in the same spot. They weren't laughing then. That was the back end of last Summer."

"At about 5.OOpm, one day last week, me and my mother, who is in her 90's, saw what we can only describe as a very brightly lit Half Crescent shaped object. To the other side of the object, there was something there, but we just couldn't make out what it was!"

"I also had another sighting from over 30 year's ago phoned into me. It was a Cigar shape over the Porter Street area. There were dozen's of witnesses who reported it and it was in all the local paper's."

Another tale of strange lights in the sky comes from an anonymous man in Hull. He explains...........

"When I finished work one night, early hours in the morning, I witnessed what I thought was a low flying passenger plane in early July, you know like the ones that go back and forth to Humberside airport, a big jumbo jet. It was only then that I realised that there was no sound and no flashing lights. It seemed to fly straight over me, it looked like a plane, but wasn't! I can't really explain it."

I asked if he could try and tell me exactly, no matter how strange it seems or how daft it seems, what he had seen. "The lights were in a kind of cross formation, like I said, a plane kind of size."

I interrupted and asked him How big was the object at full arms length? "I'd say it was about 1 1/2 to 2 inches square, there was no sound and as I've already said there was no flashing lights. The strange thing was I could not see a solid object between the lights, I put this down to being dark. As it flew away from me I stared up in awe. The lights, which I thought were on the tips of the plane just parted. They went off in different directions, way up, high in the sky! I could not believe my eyes!"
