Alien DNA - It is a waste of time searching the skies looking for evidence of extraterrestrials, the evidence is closer to home, "DNA."

According to the latest theory, we will find the evidence in our own DNA. An Australian researcher Paul Davies states that it is a waste of time searching radio waves as SETI does. He says it is more likely that extraterrestrials would have left us an artefact here on Earth for us to find,. but only when we have the technology to read and understand it.

If E.T. came here millions of years ago, they would have to leave us some evidence that would last the years and that would be to leave a message in our DNA. This would be copied and saved over large periods of time. Scientists have discovered large amounts of "Junk DNA" that contain no genes and seem to have no use in the human body. What if this is a message put there by extraterrestrials for us to find? By using a computer to find obvious pattern sequences we can tell if this junk DNA is manufactured. Davies says that if these are found "the presumption of tampering would be inescapable". The truth about extraterrestrials may be a lot closer to us than we have previously thought.

End Of The World Predicted In A Crop Circle - In a new crop circle that has appeared over two nights in August near Silbury Hill, symbols from the ancient Mayan civilization that predicted the end of the world in 2012 were featured. The Moon has a cycle around the Earth, the Earth has a cycle around the Sun and the Solar System has a cycle in the Milky Way. The cycle of the galaxy takes 26,000 years and this calendar is coming to the end of this cycle. The long cycle ends in 2012, the end of time and a new era starts for the solar system.

Polish Crop Circle - There has been so many crop circles appearing in Wylatowo, Poland this year that they are asking the European Union for $126 million to build facilities for all the visitors that come to see them every year. Town councillor Tadeusz Filipczak says "We are drawing up a formal request, we would like to fix the sewer system and put up a campsite for visitors, both from Poland and from elsewhere in Europe."

Close Encounter - We have just had another close shave. An observed asteroid skimmed past the Earth without hitting the atmosphere on Sunday. The previous object which was five to 10 metres across, named 2004 FU162. streaked across the sky just 6500 kilometres above the ground on March 31st. (This is roughly the radius of the Earth) and has just been reported.

The MIT Lincoln Laboratory's asteroid-hunting LINEAR telescope in Socorro, New Mexico, U.S. observed this new object four times during a 44 minute period. They state that the object came exceptionally close. It was calculated that the encounter with the Earth shifted the asteroid's orbit closer towards the Sun. Previously orbiting the Sun once a year in an orbit that ranged as far inside the Earth's orbit as outside, 2004 FU162 how has a nine month orbit centred closer to Venus than the Earth.

The previous record for the closest asteroid approach to the Earth was set on the 18th March by an object called 2004 FH which missed Earth by about 40,000 kilometres. This was around 30 metres in diameter, big enough to produce a one megaton explosion in the atmosphere. The smaller 2004 FU162 would have burned up as a fireball ending with a smaller explosion, had it entered the Earth's atmosphere.

New Finds At The Tunguska Site - On the 30th June, 1908 a colossal flash lit up the sky over Siberia and to this day, the mystery still remains. What caused this explosion? a Meteor, An asteroid, a exploding comet or was it a Flying Saucer which exploded. Now the mystery deepens as new evidence has been found at the site. Researcher Yuri Lavbin, President of the Tunguska Spatial Phenomenon Foundation in Krasnoyarsk, has spent 12 years researching this mystery and now believes he has found the key to the mystery. His theory is that a comet and a flying machine must have collided 10 kilometres above the Earth's surface causing the explosion.

On an expedition to the Podkamannaya Tunguska river in July, they have found two strange black stones between the two villages. The stones are regular cubes with their sides measuring a metres and a half. The stones according to Lavbin "Are manifestly not of natural origin." They appear to have been fired and "their material recalls an alloy used to make space rockets." When this event occurred only planes made of plywood existed. Also found is a huge white stone "the size of a peasants hut." stuck in the top of a crag in the middle of the devastated forest. The local people call it the "reindeer stone" It is made of a crystalline material which is not typical of the region. Lavbin suggests "it was part of the core of a comet", but the scientific establishment have other explanations.

Message Received From Outer Space - A radio signal which could be a message from aliens has just been detected from outer space, it has been beamed to Earth three times and was picked up by the giant Arecibo telescope in Puerto Rico.

According to scientists, the signal SHG bo2+14a has a frequency of about 1420 MHz. and last only about a minute. They have therefore not been able to analyse this. They do no not think it is radio interference or a hoaxer. It does not bear the hallmark of any known astronomical object.

Radio astronomer Dan Werthaimer, from the University of California said "We are not jumping up and down, but we are continuing to observe it." Other observers claim an alien would send message via a physical object because radio signals break up during space travel. The signal has been traced to a point between constellations Pisces and Aires.

Stories Of E.T. Signal Received Now Denied - Apparently, astronomers have now denied that any signals from E.T. or outer space have been received. Researchers connected with the Seti@home research programme told the BBC News Online on Thursday that no contact with extraterrestrials had been made. (This sounds very much like the Roswell scenario)

They stated that "It's all hype and noise" according to Dr. Dan Wertheirmer. "We have nothing that is unusual. It's all out of proportion." Dr. Paul Horowitz of Harvard University who is a specialist in hunting for alien life stated "It's not much of anything at all". and that they are not investigating it any further. Over the years, Seti@home has detected thousands of signals and about 150 signals survived the process for further scrutiny, but none passed the final test. Seti@home analyses some 50 trillion frequency bands looking for alien signals.

Levitating Stones Of Shivapur - In the great ancient Indian epic, the Mahabharata, numerous legends are told about the powerful force of a mysterious weapon. In the beginning of the 1900s, an archaeological expedition, which carried out excavations near the Indian settlement of Mohenjo-Daro uncovered the ruins of a big ancient town. This town belongs to one of the most developed civilizations in the world and this civilization existed for nearly three thousand years. Over the years researchers have tried to explain the reason for the towns destruction.

Various theories have been put forward but scientists did not find anything to say there was a flood, there was not a lot of skeletons found and no weapons. The destruction of the town must have happened very fast and very unexpectedly. The scientists came to the conclusion that the ancient town had been ruined with a nuclear blast. They found big stratums of clay and green grass. They think, high temperatures melted clay and sand and they hardened immediately afterwards. Similar stratums of green glass can be found in the Nevada desert after every nuclear explosion. Researchers also found that the heat was not less than 1,500 degrees centigrade.

The great Indian epic, the Mahabharata, contains numerous legends about a powerful force of a mysterious weapon. One of the chapters tells of a shell, which sparkled like fire but had no smoke. When the shell hit the ground, the darkness covered the sky, twisters and storms levelled the towns and a horrible blast burnt thousands of animals and people to ashes. Peasants and people of the town's had to dive into the river to wash away the poisonous dust.

In the town of Shivapur, there are two stones resting opposite the local shrine. One of them weighs 55 kilograms, the other 41 kilograms. If eleven men touch the bigger stone and nine men touch the smaller stone and they all chant the magic phrase, which is carved on one of the walls of the shrine, then the two stones will raise two metres into the air and will hang there for two seconds. The phenomenon of the levitating stones of Shivapur has been researched by European and Asian scientists. Our day is dived into 24 hours, the hour into 60 minutes, the minute into 60 seconds. Ancient Hindus dived the day into 60 periods. lasting 24 minutes each and so on and so forth. The shortest time period of ancient Hinuds made up one-hundred-millionth of second.

Genesis Mission Ends In Disaster - It all ended in disaster. The idea was to collect the Genesis probe as it tumbled down from space by a hook on the front of the helicopters waiting for it's return. The helicopters were piloted by American Stunt Pilots who had been practising for months for this mission, but they did not get the chance. The parachutes which should have opened on the capsule to slow it down and then further parachutes open, failed on all of them and the probe crashed spectacularly into the Utah desert on Wednesday with the fragile samples inside. It is thought that the samples will have been broken upon contact with the earth but Nasa said on Thursday it was hopeful that the solar dust captured could be salvaged from the spacecraft's damaged sample canister which was ripped open with the crash. There is a six-inch gap between the top and the bottom.

The mission which has lasted three years was to collect Solar dust which scientist hoped would yield clues about the origin of the solar system. The canister has been taken to a cleanroom at the U.S. Army Dugway proving ground in Utah near the site where it crashed and they are hopeful of getting some material from it. It will be 48 hours before they can ascertain with certainty if the material is usable.Eventually the solar samples will be taken to the Johnson Space Centre in Houston, Texas, for study and preservation.

New Earth Found - Astronomers have found a "super Earth" orbiting a star some 50 light years away. Apparently this find could significantly boost the hunt for worlds beyond our Solar System. The planet is orbiting a Sun-like star, Mu Arae, in a southern constellation called the Altar. The unnamed world is the smallest of the estimated 125 so-called extrasolar planets that have been detected.. It is the smallest yet to be discovered around a star other than the Sun. It has a mass of only 14 times that of the Earth, similar to Uranus.

UFO's Spotted In Space By Astronaut's - A Russian astronaut has claimed that he spotted a UFO in space and accuses other astronauts of keeping silent. Vladimir Kovalenok, spent 217 days in the Soljut 6 space station between 1977 and 1982 and claims he saw a number of UFO's and even witnessed one of them explode. He said that one of the objects he saw in 1981 was really small and he got his camera and took a picture of it and the moment he took the picture, there was a explosion and a plume of smoke. They contacted ground control and they confirmed that at the same time extremely high levels of radiation was measured at the time of the UFO explosion.

KSC Takes A Beating - At Cape Canaveral, the south wall of the gigantic Vehicle Assembly Building looks as if it's lost several teeth The white citadel of the centre has lost more than 52,000 square feet of the exterior walls. Exterior metal panels have been ripped off and 16 by 4 foot holes go all the way through the building. The American Flag which is painted on the building has had a bit chewed out of it during the storms.

The building was created to house the moon rockets and it is where the shuttle orbiters are stacked with their external tank and solid rocket boosters. This building is deemed critical to getting the shuttles back into the air. Luckily, the shuttles and their hangars survived without damage as did the space station hardware. Part of the roof has also been ripped off with the storm. The KSC's Process Control Centre has had severe water damage after losing part of its roof as well. The launch pads for the shuttles and rockets are alright though the building where heat-protection tiles and blankets are made for the shuttle has had about a quarter of it's roof ripped off as well. Kennedy would not speculate on how much the target launch date of March would be affected.

Evidence Of Life Found On Mars - Methane Gas has been found on Mars by scientists and this gas can only come from volcanoes or living organisms. As there has been no sign of recent volcanic activity can it be from living organisms? The Gas traces were picked up by the European Space Agency's Mars Explorer and this was high lighted at the Festival of Science in Exeter Scientist, Dr. Andrew Coates stated "If it is life, then it is the most bog-smacking discovery. There could be flatulent Martians, If it is life then it will be the most primitive form."

Mysterious Booms Again - In America, several Towns kept on reporting mysterious humming noises and booms which was driving them mad. Now in California a serious of loud booming noises is driving the occupants of Indiana mad. Justin Brugger states than in Fort Wayne "It's a quick, solid, boom-type noise." and one lady described it as a tremor. Apparently it first started about a month ago and local people put it down to construction but that does not seem to be the case and the booms remain a mystery.

Brugger is trying to find the cause and plans to plot the boom locations on a map, when he receives the calls from residents who have heard them. So far, they seem to be occurring at random times on a long narrow stretch of land. Denise Porter-Ross from the Mayor's Office said "It's just a little disturbing, you hear these noises, but when you go out to investigate, there is nothing there!"

Unidentified Object Seen Over Park - A couple in the park with their sons on Saturday afternoon spotted a mysterious object in the sky which baffled them and passers-by. It was cigar shaped and appeared in the sky for about 20 minutes at around 2.15pm. It caught their attention because it did not appear to move like an aeroplane. It was spotted when they were in the field opposite the carpark entrance in Guildford Road and they say it was "cylinder-shaped and shiny."

The Newspapers received several other calls that day about the sightings. The director of the Farnborough International Airport, Ann Bartaby said "The object was nothing to do with them." She stated "I have spoken to air traffic control and they did not see anything unusual and nothing was reported to us." and a spokeswoman for the Army said they were not responsible for the unidentified object either.

Signal Received Remains A Mystery - In the western US and Canada an unidentified signal has been showing up on the 40 meter phone band or about 7238 kHz and has mystified amateurs. It has been heard frequently for the past few weeks and resembles a steady carrier.

On closer inspection it suggests that the intruding signal actually is a series of closely space signals. Don Moman, VE6JY, in Edmonton, Alberta, says he has been hearing the signal quite loud. He said that the signal "looks a lot more interesting than it would sound-just a broad tone/hum/buzz. It depends on where you tune." he said.

One spectrogram from VE6JY showed perhaps a half-dozen or more discrete signals. It has been picked up in California by Bob Gonsett and this signal seems to be the strongest. No one is sure what the signal is or where it is coming from but it seems to be somewhere north of Presott, Arizona and west of Interstate.

17FCC monitoring indicates the "buzz" is centred on 7238 1.kHz with a bandwidth of about kHz and spikes spaced at about 90 Hz apart. Jack Roland KEOVH in Colorado also heard the signals for a couple of evenings and remarked "Something is not right there."

High Noon Net Manager Bill Save. N5FLD in Albuquerque, New Mexico said several net participants in Nebraska, Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming, Minnesota and Arizona were all able to hear the mysterious signal.

Creatures Living In The Earth's Atmosphere - Just recently more and more details are emerging about various forms of life living in the Earth's atmosphere. Various nations on the Earth have stories, fairy tales and legends about such creatures, such as Fairy's, elves, sylphs, giant fire birds, flying snakes and dragons. This weird theory just recently has been gaining more and more details to prove its credibility.

On the 11th September 1948, the Empire State Building in New York was attacked by hundreds of birds of various species. Mysterious creatures in the sky can be traced in the history of the Roman Empire. According to ancient manuscripts, giant red ravens were seen flying in the sky above Rome in the year 106 BC, These birds were carrying red-hot stones in their beaks. They dropped the stones down onto the ground and scorched half the city. Similar like birds were also seen in France and Portugal in the middle ages. They were called "Fire Elementalias, Spectres of Fire." These "Fire Birds" caused numerous fires in the middle of 1980's in San Juan, Puerto Rico. According to eyewitnesses the birds were huge, and had a wing span of about 4 metres. In historical documents "Fire snakes and dragons" were described in the American town of Crawfordsville, Indiana on September 18th. There is a story about a 10 metres long fire snake which appeared above the central square of the town. This creature was seen by several people who said it was alive and the local pastor said "It's eyes were Red, like a fire and the heat of its breath could be felt at a distance." These creatures were also seen in the sky above Indiana in the 1960's and 1970's. Film director William Gordon Allen used eyewitnesses stories to create an image of the fire snake. This illustration (Right) appeared in the documentary film "Overlords of the UFO." This film was released in 1976.

Sudden migration and the mass deaths of birds can also be considered as indirect evidence to prove the existence of an unknown form of life in the atmosphere of our planet. On the 1th September, 1948 when the Empire State Building was attacked by hundred of birds, all of different species, according to eyewitnesses the birds were slamming into windows as if they were trying to fly away from imminent danger. In May 1917, in the U.S. town of Baton-Rouge, Louisiana, hundred of birds fell dead on the ground and a lot of them had strange burns to their bodies. A similar accident also happened in August of 1960 on the outskirts of Capitola Beach, where more birds fell dead to the ground. Ornithologists could not find out the reason for their deaths. Charles Fort wrote in his book "The Book of the Damned" that there were weird, jelly like beings who lived in the Earths atmosphere. Ford wrote, Medusa-like creatures had stings and tentacles which they used to hunt for birds. This was not believed, until the American Scientists developed a special substance called "Aerogel"., This substance is lighter than air and the state of which represents both hard and gas conditions. Researchers proposed that the flesh of these mysterious creatures could be made of the same or a similar substance. This can be partly proved with an incident, which accrued on the 28th December 1958. in Florida. A Detective, Faustin Galegos found a strange object outside his house. He said that the picked the object up but he could not feel he was holding it. It was a translucent ball, the size of a soccer ball, and it was practically weightless. After several hours the object virtually melted away and he had the distinct impression that he was holding a dead creature of unknown origin in his hands.

According to researcher Robert Gardner a transport aircraft of the U.S. Air Force took off from an army base in San Diego in the summer of 1939. The plane was carrying 12 passengers and it returned to the base in about an hour, after it had sent an SOS. When the plane landed the only person alive was the commander but he died in several minutes. All the dead military men had strange burns to their skin. It was not possible to find out their origin and what really happened on board the plane.Investigators therefore said that the crew and the passengers used their personal guns. The panels of the plane were damaged with gunshots, as if people were trying to kill a very fast enemy. Apparently to no avail. The mysterious creature failed to be killed.
