Our New Moon - We have got a new moon...... a "Quasi-moon" asteroid which will encircle our Earth for the next couple of years. It will orbit the sun on a horse-shoe shaped path.

The asteroid 2003.YN17 is most probably a chunk of debris from an impact between a larger piece of space rock and the surface of our Moon. Two other "Quasi-moon's" have looped around the Earth for a while before, and have been spotted in recent years. Cluithne and asteroid 2002 AA29

Methane Discovered On Mars - Methane which could be signs of life has been discovered on Mars. It has been found in the Martian atmosphere. It was detected by telescopes here on Earth and has now been confirmed by instruments onboard the European Space Agency's Mars Express which is orbiting the planet. The spectral signature of the gas was spotted by the Infrared Telescope on Hawaii and Gemini South Observatory in Chile. The world's largest telescope at Hawaii, the twin Keck, has looked but has not found anything at the present. Scientists who operate the Mars Express Planetary Fourier Spectrometer (FPS) have detected the methane as well. As methane only lives for a short time in the atmosphere it must be constantly replenished, so there are 2 possible sources for this.

1. Active volcanoes (None have so far been found. Lava released underground could produce gas.)

2. Microbes.

Apparently methane is not a stable molecule in the Martian atmosphere so if it is not being constantly replenished in some way or other it would only last for a few hundred years before it vanished. On Earth there are organisms called Methanogens - these are microbes that produce methane from hydrogen and carbon dioxide. They do not need oxygen to survive and these could be the type of microbes that live on Mars.

The twin U.S. space rovers that landed on Mars in January cannot answer the questions of the methane's origin as they are only designed for geological work, but ironically - Beagle 2 which was lost could have given us the answer. The Beagle 2 mission had a device that could have sniffed the Martian atmosphere for methane. Future missions could include sensors to analyse the methane to find out where it comes from.

UFO Secrecy Of The Pentagon - A former White House chief of staff and an international investigative journalist is asking the Pentagon to release classified files about UFO's and to let us know what it knows. Ex. Clinton aide, John Podesta said "It is time for the government to de-classify records that are more than 25 years old and to provide scientists with data that will assist us in determining the real nature of the phenomenon."

Podesta is one of numerous political and media heavyweights in Washington D.C. to announce a new group to gain access to secret government records about UFO's. The coalition of Freedom of Information (CFI) is pressing the Air Force for documents involving Project Moon Dust and Operation Blue Fly. These clandestine operations which were reported to exist decades ago, investigated UFO'S and retrieved objects of unknown origins. The new group, do not want to prove the existence of aliens, rather to legitimize the scientific investigation of unexplained aerial phenomena. One of the most mysterious cases was the Kecksburg, Pennsylvania incident which occurred on the 5th December, 1965. The Official government story was the object was a meteorite, but eyewitnesses say a military truck took an acorn-shaped object (About the size of a small car) from the crash site to an Air Force Base in Ohio.

The new group is backed by the Sci-Fi Channel and a CFI director Ed.Rothchild also works for Podesta's public relations firm PodestaMattoon. which is coordinating the group at the behest of the Sci-Fi Channel. The Sci-Fi channel is well known for it's interest in UFO'S.

E.T. In Russia - On August 13th,1996 in the village of Kaolinovy in Chelyubinsk region. A pensioner Tamara Vasilievna went to the local cemetery. She had a psychiatric disease and used to collect the flowers from the graves and decorate her room with them. When she went to bed that night a voice awoke her, telling her to go to the crematory again, which she did. When she got there she saw huge eyes staring at her from one of the graves. When she got a little closer, she saw a strange creature, 25 centimetres in height and definitely, not human.

The little creature had a head which was composed of 5 petals, like a tiny onion shape, no ears, huge slanting catlike eyes, which occupied the biggest part of it's face. It could not talk but it started whistling quietly. The pensioner took this little creature to her home an started examining the alien. (She gave the creature the name Aleshenka) The body was plump and was swaying like a jelly while the skin was gray with dark spots in brown on the head. It had no hair, no ears, just small holes and a small flat nose. It had dark-gray eyes with no eye-lids. The pupils were vertical and were constanatly narrowing and expanding. The creature had long fingers and small sharp claws. It had no genitals to reveal the sex and no navel.

The woman tried to feed Aleshenka, but the mouth was only a tiny hole, no lips but it could stretch itself widely. It had a complte set of teeth and a small lower jaw. It had a huge scarlet tongue, which took almost all of the mouth cavity which disturbed the chewing process. The lady gave Aleshenka some milk and water with a spoon and moist sweat appeared on it's body after eating and it started disseminating a sweet smelly smell soaking clothes and furniture. She wiped it from time to time with a rag and the creature was lying and id not move but from time to time it stretched it's legs. The next day the villages heard the news and at first they did not believe it.

But one day, the woman's daughter-in-law came and saw Alenshenka for herself and they decided to look after the creature themselves and not tell the police, but a neighbour reported Tamara to the psychiatrists and an ambulance came and took her to the hospital. She explained that she had a child in the house who needed looking after, but they did not take her seriously. The relatives did not know she was in hospital and therefore with no one there to look after the creature, it died of thirst and hunger. The aliens body started drying out and became mummified.

Only one person Viadimir Nurdinov remembered about the creature and when he heard she had been taken to hospital he came to her house, but it was too late, he found the dry mummy lying in a bed. He took it to his place and he did not know what to do with it. The police came to the man's apartment as he was suspected of stealing power cables, and they saw the mummy and though it was a child.and they took it away to examine.The doctor's claimed the mummified creature has a minimum of 20 features distinguishing it from a human being. The Medical experts rejected the idea that Aleshenka could be a mutant child. During a second expertise, some doctors had this version. The town of Kyshtym is situated in the area contaminated after the accident in 1957 at the secret object in Chelyabinsk-40 . After the accident, freaks were born in the area from time to time.

After the investigator decided to ask UFO organization which was 200 kilometres away in the town of Kamensk-Uralsky of Sverdiovsk region. The organization head Galin Semenkova took the mummified body. According to Galina who spoke at a seminar in Tokyo, when she was carrying the mummy from Kyshtym to her town, a flying saucer appeared in the sky, her vehicle engine stopped working and aliens from the saucer demanded the body of their dead fellow and she gave them it immediately. Later on the Japanese TV crew wanted to interview Tamara Vasilievna but they arrived too late. on the 5th August, 1999 she showed up on the highway naked, wearing only socks and two vehicles ran into the poor old lady causing her instant death.

Aleshenka's story is still continuing - The Japanese decided to sponsor erecting a monument to the E.,T. visitor .Also, in 1997 an announcement was posted on the internet on sale of the mummy of extraterrestrial visitor found in Russia. Is it still out there somewhere or did the flying saucer come back from it's planet and ask for the return of his dead fellow?

Fragments Of UFO Bring New Results - An UFO that crashed at 8pm on the 29th January, l986 in the rocky mountains in the town of Dalnegorsk was witnessed by hundreds of people. The UFO slightly brushed upon the mount and witnesses said they saw a bright flash but no noise. The glow from the fire that appeared was strange, blue aureole lasted for about 1 and half hours. At first it was thought it was a rocket from the nearby military base, but this was not the case. A group of rescue workers headed by Professor Dvozhilin climbed up the Rockies and collected vitrified metal fragments for analysis and scientists were amazed at the results.

The fragments contained majority of elements of the periodic table. The alloy was incredibly strong, nothing but a diamond cutter would cut it. Also, strange things were happening to the metal fragments as well. Certain metals were miraculously substituted by others.. After melting the alloy in a vacuum, spectrum analysis did not detect previously present particles of gold, silver and nickel. Instead, such elements as titan and moybdenum appeared. Back then, the scientists could not explain it or come up with a logical explanation , but the main surprise however was yet to be discovered. Some of the fragments contained unusual gauze. It was made of the tiniest (Only 17 micron wide) carbonic and metal threads which in turn were made of twisted fibres. At that time it was impossible to create anything that would resemble this.

After the collapse of the USSR. all of the fragments collected at the height of 611 were shown to the English, American and Japanese scientists. They all went to the actual place of the catastrophe and videotaped the area. The Americans said that the crash did not have anything to do with American ground breaking technologies and in the end both sides began suspecting the KGB, who according to rumours were testing some secret weapons.

Back then, 33 UFO's were spotted near Dulnegorste. They hovered at 611 metres and illuminated the area. Army guards, navy crews and hundreds of local's saw the objects, but the TV and radio statement said that they were simply "Weather conditions?"

Now, according to Pravda, Army guards of the Nakhodka region spotted an UFO at 25 kilometres from Dalnegorsk. This was triangular shaped, had 6 engines, moved quietly and hovered above the sea and land. It disappeared after half an hour. When it disappeared, the local fisherman discovered a strong substance in the water. It was similar to the one found and examined in 1986. Similar alloys were found only in the mountains in places where the UFO was seen by the people. When an expedition was sent to the mountains anomaly at the height of 611m. was seen. After the UFO crashed, even silicon becomes magnetised in the area. 30kg. of various samples such as metal particles, wood and stone were collected and were later sent to Moscow along with the earlier samples for further analysis. All were examined in several different research centres.

Preliminary analysis yielded sensational results: there were neither traces of natural cataclysms, nor products of earthy technologies. The place at 611m is the world's only place with distinct traces of the UFO landing. The latest theory is that the UFO's are attracted to this area due to some unique fields of rare metals. In that case - They may return quite soon.
