Water On Mars - Even though Nasa has found no traces of life they believe that Mars once had water, it has been disclosed. The discovery has been made by the Nasa Rover Opportunity whilst working on the Meridiani Planum, which is a flat plain containing the iron-rich mineral grey haematite. It was drilling into a layered rock called "El Capitan" by the scientists and the scientists will now try and see if the rock previously lay at the bottom of a salty lake or sea in the distant past. The chemicals in the rock have proved that water existed in the past. The other rover "Spirit" is busy on the opposite side of Mars surveying the planet. This is great news for Nasa as it would prove that Mars was once suitable for life to exist, It is also known that large amounts of ice are locked up in the polar regions.

Manchester To Get It's Own UFO - Plans for a massive monument for Rossendale have just been unveiled. The monument will be a dominant feature on the skylines as visitors approach the valley. It will be a giant flying saucer. It will be a circular steel mesh construction, 20 metres in diameter, and will stand 5 metres off the ground on a tripod. It will be lit from underneath so that is will look as if it is hovering above the hillside gateway into Rossendale at Top O:Slate above Haslingden. . It will cost approximately £50,000 and this will be met by the North West Development Agency and the East Lancashire Partnership. The design was chosen from 188 ideas in a competition.

Poland - Crop Circles - Crop circles which were first noticed in the UK and then spread all over the world are now been seen in Poland. New crop circles have appeared in the small village of Wylatowo in Poland. and just like in the UK, orbs of light have been seen flying over the circles. According to the people who witnessed the circles, they say "First, there's a great silence. No trees whispering, no birds singing, even the air seems still while a thick fog forms on the ground. It is pitch dark. It all lasts a few minutes, during which the crops suddenly start "lying down" in the form of characteristic circles, then, everything is back to life." In July, Nancy Talbott and the team from BLT Research visited the area. They have investigated crop circles all over the world. After testing the crop and inside the circles, Talbott said that the circles were authentic.

UFO Sightings - A new photo of a UFO has been taken in Venezuela. John Stewart saw the UFO in August along with his wife and son. It hovered a few feet above the ground. It was grey and had round windows. All 3 members of the family saw it and all drew pictures of the Ufo which looked the same. In Canada last year there was an increase of 39% from 2002. Several people saw a mysterious circle in the sky in the early evening according to the East Anglian Daily Times. Chris Mills states that he had just left the station when he saw a plane in the sky making vapour trails. In front of it, and much lower in the sky was a perfectly round cloud, like a halo, above the area around. the Ipswich Town.Stadium. Jim Keating, also spotted the halo and said it was like a vapour trail but a complete circle. Dale Scott said "It was very strange, like a massive smoke ring." A local weather man who saw it said "It was a condensation trail (Plane contrail) that formed in an exact circle, which was visible before sunset."

Secret Global Warming Report - According to the Pentagon's secret climate report, in the next 20 years there could be a global catastrophe which will cost million's of lives in wars and disasters. Britain will have a Siberian climate, and major European cities will have sunk beneath the rising seas by 2020. They say in the report that nuclear conflict, drought, famine and wide-spread rioting will spread across the world. Until now the report has been kept under wraps by the U.S. Military, but a major newspaper,"The Observer" has now exposed the contents in the U.K. The secret report was commissioned by the Pentagon Defence Advisor, Andrew Marshall and complied by C.I.A. consultant Peter Schwartz and Doug Randall of the Global Business Network. In it, it warns of dwindling food, water and energy supplies which would start off a nuclear war and sudden climate change is possible and widespread flooding due to the rise of sea levels will threaten millions. Rob Gueterbock of Greenpeace says "President Bush says global warming is a hoax, but across the Potomac river the Pentagon is preparing for climate wars. It is very scary when Bush ignores his own government on this issue."" The cutting of fossil fuels would be worthwhile, we must start to take action sooner than later.

Sun Spots - A few months ago several stories appeared about solar flares from the Sun, which can disrupt all cell phones, pose a hazard for astronauts on spacewalks and damage satellites and electrical equipment. The Earths magnetic poles are now in the process of flipping and this weakens our magnetic shield and we will be susceptible to damage by radiation sent out by these solar flares. The Sun Spots have started again and are now even bigger than ever. The Big Spot which appeared a few days ago, and looked as if it was nothing special has now grown wider than 8 planet Earths. The Sun spot has been given the number 564.

Time Can Be Made To Turn Backward - Dreams of a Time Machine has always been the goal of man, to go back in time or forward, but no-one has been successful in this quest,. but according to the latest from Pravda, this might be possible one day. In the Antarctica American and British scientists 8 years ago made a startling discovery. According to U.S. physicist Mariann McLein, time was seen to go backwards. Researchers noticed some spinning grey fog in the sky over the pole on the 27th January. They believed it to be just ordinary sandstorm, but the fog did not change the form and did not move in the course of time. So the investigators decided to investigate the phenomenon.

They launched a weather balloon with equipment capable of registering the wind speed, the temperature and the air moisture. The weather balloon soared upwards and immediately disappeared. When the researchers brought the weather balloon back to the ground (it had a rope attached to it) they discovered to their surprise that the chronometer set in the weather balloon displayed the date of January 27th, 1965. The same day 30 years ago. They repeated the experiment several times, making sure the equipment was in good repairs. But every time the watch was back it displayed the past time. This phenomenon was called "The Time Gate" and was reported to the White House.

Investigations are now underway as regards to this unusual phenomenon. They think that the whirl crater above the South Pole is a tunnel which allows us to penetrate into other times. They have now started a programme on launching people to other times. The CIA and FBI are fighting amongst themselves for control of the project, which may change the course of history, but it is not clear whether the U.S. Federal Authorities will approve the experiment. A famous Russian scientist Nikolay Kozyrev conducted an experiment to prove that moving from the future to the past was possible and he even supposed that "Time" could execute the work and produce energy. An American physics theorist has arrived at a conclusions that "Time is what existed before existence of the world."

A group of enthusiasts led by Vadim Chernobrov, the man who began creation of time machines, devices with electromagnetic pumping in 1987. Today, this group can slow down or speed up time using special impact of the magnetic field. The biggest slow down of time made up 1.5. seconds within a hour of the equipment's operation in labs.

In a remote forest in Russia's Volgograd Region in August 2001, a new model of the time machine meant for humans was built. The machine, even when it was operated on car batteries, and had a low capacity, it still managed to change time by 3%.The researchers spent five, ten and twenty minutes in the time machine and the longest stay lasted for half an hour. The people felt as if they moved to a different world, they said they felt life here and "there" at the same time as if some space was unfolding. This fact was never reported by the TV or radio companies, and the Russian president was not informed either.

Under Stalin there was a Research Institute of the Parallel World. and results of these experiments can now be found in the archives. In 1952 head of the Soviet secret police initiated a case against researchers participating in the experiments. As a result, 18 professors were executed by shooting and 59 candidates and doctors of physical sciences were sent to camps. An experimental stand with eight leading researchers disappeared in 1961 and buildings close to the one where experiments were conducted were ruined. After that, the research was suspended for an uncertain period. The programme was resumed in 1987 but a tragedy occurred on the 30th August, 1989. A extremely strong explosion sounded at Institutes branch office on the Anjou islands. The explosion destroyed not only the experimental module of 780 tons but also the archuipelago itself which covered the area of 2 square kilometres. One version of the tragedy was the module with 3 experimenters collided with a large object, probably an asteroid, in the parallel world or heading towards the parallel world. The module probably remained in the parallel world having lost it's propulsion system.

The last record made in the framework of the experiment said "We are dying but keep on conducting the experiment. It is very dark here, we see all objects become double, our hands and legs are transparent, we can see veins and bones through the skin. The oxygen supply will be enough for 43 hours, the life support system is seriously damaged." They then gave their regards to the families and friends. The transmission then suddenly stopped.

Mystery Of Locks Not Opening Crops Up Again - On the 21st February in Las Vegas the first of many calls were received at the local locksmith. The man complained that the remote control locking system on his car was refusing to respond. Even, the old fashions key, linked to the same circuitry, would not open it. By the end of the day, the local police, fire brigade, locksmiths, car dealers and two tow-truck services had received over 200 calls, all from motorists stranded as they could not get into their vehicles. Many say the figure was as high as 1000.

Nearby 160 km. north of Vegas is the United States Air Force's Nellis Air Base, (Area 51 military research facility) which sits in the middle of Nellis bombing range and covers 4,100 square kilometres of desert. The general belief in Vegas is that it is something to do with the top-secret test of equipment being done there which is intended to fry an enemies circuitry. Even Mike Estrada, a spokesman for the U.S. air force, who works there could not get into his own car. John Pike, the director of the Washington based Global Security think-tank said "The idea that a military test of some sort was responsible isn't that far-fetched." He said "Noting that hush-hush electronic weapons and counter-measures are among special projects funded by the Pentagon's "black Budget" details of which are withheld even from the congressional Armed Services Committee."

Solar flares have been known to scramble electronics, but there were none at the time. Another possibility is static electricity, usually created by dry air, but a little rain was seen on the day the locks froze. All the rumours point to Nellis.

In March, 2001, the carrier USS Carl Vinson returned to the port of Bremerton in Washington State. and all the car locks went crazy. A month later, the USS Abraham Lincoln returned to Pudget Sound and the same thing happened. The strangest one was when Air Force One flew low over the suburbs and garage doors sprang open. Like car locks the doors radio-activated mechanisms are prompted by low-power transmissions.

On the 11th September,2001 after the first three-hijacked jets hit the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. the fourth aircraft crashed in Pennsylvania. According to the official story, the passengers fought their way into the cockpit and destroyed the aircraft whilst grappling to reclaim the controls. According to several witnesses, a white jet which was unmarked was seen to be closely tailing the aircraft. As the two planes passed overhead, radios in the vicinity started to crackle and die. The Pentagon has denied the existence of this plane, but could it have been targeting the aircraft with signals to confound its avionics and make it fall from the sky?

In Iraq, the roadside bombs that have claimed so many US lives are triggered by devices borrowed from things such as remote control locks, cellphones and toys. The last bomb, which killed three GI's went off in mid-February, just days before everything went haywire in Las Vegas. According to the Pentagon, the US bomb disposal teams have been defusing the devices in increasing numbers. Many are wondering if the military have used Vegas as a test site for jamming and blocking technology before rushing it to Iraq for deployment in the field.

Mars Lander - Beagle 2 - European Scientists are examining an image of Beagle 2, Mars Lander which was taken moments after it separated from the mothership which shows an unidentified object. The Beagle 2 has never been heard of and is presumed lost. This mysterious object on the photo is been seen as maybe one of the reasons for the failure of the lander. This was the first project for the European Space Agency to land on Mars and this ESA joint project cost just over $370 million dollars. Nasa's cost $820 million dollars.Photo's of the landing site showed 4 bright spots that might be the remains of Beagle 2, these lights have been dubbed, "String of Pearls."

Beagle 2 weighted 143 pounds and has not responded to scheduled attempts to contact it on December 25th and nothing has been heard from it since. Last attempts to change programme's did not have any effect either. Mark Sims, Beagle 2 Missions manager has shown scientists an image of the lander as it spun away from Mars Express, and it shows a bright spot in the shade of the lander and an entirely separate object. The image is being analyzed to determine whether the marks are simply the result of imaging process. Another theory for the loss of Beagle 2 which is gaining credence is that the Mars atmosphere was not as dense as expected and therefore Beagle 2 might have been going too fast for it's parachutes and air bags to ensure a soft landing. This idea has been supported by Nasa, which also reported a less-dense atmosphere than expected on the entry of it's first rover. (I cannot understand this, as we have put landers on Mars before, surely they would have know this then.) Beagle 2 controllers did not have much choice about the timing or location of the descent of Beagle 2 onto Mars. Both were set by the trajectory of Mars Express. Also images of the landing site have now revealed that there were many more hazards in the area than thought - these included craters and dust storms.

Colin Pillinger, is now already searching for more funds and sponsorship for revival of Beagle 2. He wants another mission to Mars as early as 2007 and to include sending more than one probe.

Are UFO's Living Creature's? - The following is from "The Horror of the Heights" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Conceive a jelly-fish such as sails in our summer seas, bell-shaped and of enormous size - far larger, I should judge, than the dome of St.Paul's. It was of a light pink colour veined with a delicate green, but the whole huge fabric so tenuous that it was but a fairy outline against the dark blue sky. It pulsated with a delicate and regular rhythm. From it there depended two long drooping, green tentacles, which swayed slowly backwards and forwards. This gorgeous vision passed gently with noiseless dignity over my head, as light and fragile as a soap-bubble, and drifted upon its stately way.

According to several witnesses UFO's seem to behave very oddly, some say, they seem to play with them, playing hide and seek and cat and mouse games.

During World War Two, "Foo Fighters" as they were called, were seen in the skies over Europe. They seemed to act like dolphins, trailing boats. They flew along-side planes at the wing tips, then turned away and vanished in the sky. They never showed any aggression to our planes.

Recently, UFO's seem to fly along-side aircraft or follow them, sometimes even chasing them as if they are acknowledging their presence. They even seem to sense the presence of people on the ground and interact with them. They follow cars, then dart away and in some cases signal with a light.

Jose Escamilla's "Rods" as they are known certainly look as if they are "living creatures" of some kind. Then there are the "Orbs" which seem to be seen more and more by people.

This idea that UFO's might be some sort of living creature inhabiting earths atmosphere rather than a nuts and bolts craft is not a new one. Some of the reports that Charles Fort collected made him think this might be the case. Even in his later life, Kenneth Arnold, the first "modern" - "UFO witness" believed that UFO's were living creatures Trevor James Constable who is the author of several books, including "The Cosmic Pulse of Life and Sky Creatures," proposes that UFO's are "Plasmatic inhabitants of our atmosphere."

Spacecraft Seen On Mars? - When the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit was observing the sky it noticed a surprise. The panoramic camera had a green filter and it noticed a streak going across the sky. The streak was seen in images taken by the navigation and panoramic cameras. It was the brightest object in the sky at the time. Scientists think that it could either be a meteorite or maybe one of the seven out-of-commission spacecraft which are still orbiting Mars.

The object appeared to move 4 degrees of an arc in 15 seconds so it is probably not the Russian probes Mars. 2, Mars 3, Mars 5 or Phobos 2, or even the American probes Mariner 9 or Viking 1. This only leave Viking 2. This has a polar orbit that would fit with the north-south orientation of the streak. Viking 1 and 2 were left in orbits that could produce motion as fast as that seen by Spirit. Mark Lemmon, a rover team member from Texas A & M University, Texas said "Is this the first image of a meteor on Mars, or an image of a spacecraft sent from another world during the dawn of our robotic space exploration program?"

They are still looking for clues as to what it was.

It looks rather like a "Rod" as well.

Seti Signal - An anomalous signal has been received on Earth by a Radar Telescope involved in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence.

Strong signals have been received but they have never been positively identified. It is possible that the signal originates from an unusual modulation between a GPS satellite and an unidentified Earth based source.

No signals strong enough or which run long enough to be identified as originating from an extraterrestrial source have been detected.

Many signals from space remain unidentified.

Tenth Planet Found - Astronomers have just announced that they have found a tenth planet in our solar system. It is beyond Pluto and more than six billion miles from the Earth. Temperatures there never rise above minus 400 degrees Fahrenheit , its calendar year takes 10,500 of our years and it is the most distant object orbiting the sun which has ever been detected.It is believed to be about 1,250 miles wide and may even be larger than Pluto, which is the furthest-known planet. It makes a highly elliptical orbit, looping out from eight billion to 84 billion miles away from the Sun - or 900 times the Earth's distance from the star. The planet has been named "Sedna", after the Inuit goddess who was reputed to have created the sea creatures of the Arctic.

It was discovered during a Nasa-funded research project by the Hubble and Spitzer space telescopes and astronomers found it in the Kuiper Belt, which is a huge area of rock and ice left over from the creation of the solar system. The name "Sedna" make not remain though. If it's planetary status is confirmed, the International Astronomical Union may make the name more consistent with the other planets. They are all named after figures from Greek and Roman mythology.

Permanent Sun On The Moon - Scientists have discovered that there is a mountain on the moon where the sun never sets. They have called it "Peak of eternal light" and it is on the rim of Peary, a crater 50 miles wide at the Lunar North pole.

Finding this peak which is permanently illuminated means that the Lunar North pole might be ideal for the first moonbase to be built The location most probably has a daily temperature which changes only about 70 degrees Fahrenheit. At the lunar equator, the daily temperature changes are as much as 450 degrees daily, so this illuminated peak might be an ideal place to build Earth's first moonbase.

The moon's axis of rotation is tilted to about 1.5.degrees and it has small seasons at it's poles. By contract, Earths tilt is 23.5. degree's. The low tilt angle means that there are some crater floors and the walls at the poles that never see the sun, but at least one mountain always protrudes into the sunlight.

Asteroid Passes Earth Closely - An asteroid 100 foot in diameter passed very close to us last week.It passed the Atlantic Ocean at 2.08 pm PST. at a height of 26,500 miles. This was the closest recorded encounter between an asteroid and the Earth according to Nasa's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. There most probably have been closer encounters before that we do not know of. The asteroid 2004 FH wont be returning to Earth's Orbit again until 2044, when it will be within 930,000 miles. It was close enough to Earth to be visible through binoculars from the southern hemisphere, Asia and Europe. It was discovered by two telescopes in New Mexico.

Hunt For Alien Life - The hunt for alien life at the Californian based Seti Institute has just had a massive donation of $13.5. million. by Mr. Paul Allen, the co-founder of software titan Microsoft. He is giving a slice of his fortune to fund the search for life on other planets. The money will be used to create a radio telescope array, which will consist of more than 200 dishes, these will measure signals from space. Mr.Allen who is funding the research is estimated to be worth $36 billion dollars.

The Great Wall Of China - When astronaut Gene Ceman on Apollo 17 who walked on the Moon in December 1972 said he saw the Great Wall of China from space was he right? He stated "It's a matter of having a good eye and knowing where to look" Ceman was quoted as saying "At Earth orbit of 100 miles to 200 mils high the Great Wall is indeed visible to the naked eye!" and for decades the Chinese have said the wall was visible from space.

But the myth has now been shattered. When Chinese astronaut Yang Liwei returned from space last year, he stated that you could not see the Great Wall whilst in orbit. The Wall stretches thousands of miles across northern China, but is only a few yards wide. The materials it is made of also match the surrounding landscape, Nasa's website states.

Ambassador For Aliens - The nation has decided in a poll conducted by Yahoo News Survey, Ozzy Osbourne has come out top as the nation's favourite to welcome aliens to the planet Earth.

The 55 year old rocker got 26% of the votes and beat George W.Bush, U.S.President who only got 9%. The top five were as follows = Ozzy Osbourne. Ant and Dec. Tony Blair. Jordan and George W.Bush.

A spokesman for Yahoo News said "Ozzy is a great choice but I am not sure what the Martian's would make of his individual approach to the English language." If they did not understand him, they said, he might have to resort to music.

Shuttle Flown For 25 Years With Fatal Flaws - Nasa has just announced that some of its U.S. Space Shuttles flew for 25 years with flaws in the rudders of the tail section. Some gears on the two part rudder which also acts as a speed brake were installed improperly in at least 1 shuttle when they were built in the late 1970's and early 80's. The shuttle Discovery flew 28 missions with a flawed speed brake actuator. Loss of the rudder speed brake would have meant the loss of the vehicle and it's crew. During the high speed re-entry and landing the rudder speed brake is used to guide and slow the shuttle. The other shuttles, Atlantis and Endeavour are to have their speed brake actuator removed, inspected and replaced.

Does Aztec Hold The Truth Of UFO's - The 7th Annual Aztec UFO symposium is being held this weekend to hear the latest information on the crash of an UFO which happened on the 25th March, 1948 to the north of Aztec. Scott Ramsey, the vice president of a wire company in Charlotte N.C. has been investigating the incident since 1990. According to the account of the incident, a saucer-shaped spaceship which was about 100 feet in diameter crashed in Hart Canyon. Military personnel and police officers removed 16 dead humanoids from the craft which they took away. UFO investigators state that the government clammed up immediately after the event.

The first time the Aztec/Alien connection was revealed was in 1950 in the book "Behind the Flying Saucers" by Frank Scully. According to Ramsey the government gave a lot of importance to the Aztec incident and a lot of investigation was carried out. The information was classified though. He has interviewed witnesses and people involved in the original investigation, including Air Force and has gained access to some of the documents. 200 people, military personnel and scientists were involved in the investigation and they were all sworn to secrecy. The military men were threatened with loss of their pension if they talked. He is expecting to publish a book about the Aztec UFO this year and has spent $200.000 of his own money in search of documents, visiting 28 states and obtaining testimony about the Aztec incident.

Discovery Made Of How Alien's Speak! - All abductees describe the way extraterrestrials "Talk inside their heads" Well, scientists may well have discovered how this works. Nasa has developed a computer programme that can read the words in our heads before we speak them. The programme analyzes the nerve signals in our mouth and throat with button-sized sensors which are attached to the chin and Adam's apple. They are hoping in the future they might be able to do this without the outer apparatus.

Research Chuck Jorzensen says "Biological signals arise when reading or speaking to oneself with or without actual lip or facial movement." Nasa are hoping to use this technology in space where astronauts have to communicate to each other. According to the late Colonel Phil Corso, Alien technology from UFO Crashes (Roswell) is slowly being integrated into U.S. Manufacturing where new technologies are developed. Scientists have also recently re-created what sounds like the "UFO Metal" found at the site of the crashed UFO at Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. Whether these new technologies are a result of captured alien technology is unknown, but it is certainly mysterious how suddenly, these discoveries come to light.If this new development is a success, it will lead the way where spies could talk to each other without being overheard. This is something to ponder over!
