Date Of Sighting: 22.01.00
Date Of Sighting: 02.02.00 "I spotted 3 silver objects and 1 white light. They all seemed to be round in shape and about the size of a very small pea. I first noticed the object/s when they seemed to be flashing in the sky, in sequence! I lost sight of the object/s as I drove along the road. I thought that this could have been some sort of secret military craft. The objects seemed to just hang in the sky, in one position, for a long time and I don't think they were helicopters."
Date Of Sighting: 02.02.00
Date Of Sighting: 07.02.00 "I witnessed 1, possibly 3 objects, which at first I thought was a plane. It/They appeared to be made up of three white lights and an object behind, which I can only describe as a dark colour. It was moving in a South-West direction when it suddenly banked and climbed straight up into the clouds. There seemed to be nothing joining the three lights together and if it was a plane, there is no way that it could manoeuvre like that."
Date Of Sighting: 11.02.00
Date Of Sighting: 11.02.00 "I witnessed two white lights, round in shape. I'd say a 1/4 size of a pea would cover the object. I was generally glancing at the night sky as the Space Shuttle was supposed to be visible that night, when I spotted the object slowly moving, about the speed of a second hand on a clock, in an Easterly direction. There was no other lights and more importantly...... no sound."
Date Of Sighting: 09.03.00 "That night I just could not sleep and got up to get a drink. After I got a glass of milk from the fridge I went to the back door and stood looking up at the early morning sky. There were a few clouds about and it was a bit windy, then this thing just appeared. It was shaped like a tear drop and was about the size of a golf ball, as it shot passed me I was taken by surprise, no sooner had it appeared, it had gone over the roof tops heading towards Chanterlands Ave., Hull."
Date Of Sighting: 18.03.00 "I was driving in darkness, no street lighting, on a minor road, when clearly visible in front of the car, at a distance of what seemed like only a few hundred yards, was a distinct ball of light. It travelled horizontally low in the sky from left to right at a uniform fast speed. It seemed to briefly leave a trail of light similar to a roman candle firework only much larger. The terrain was really a narrow unclassified winding road with the view being interrupted frequently by trees along the roadside. I was traveling about 40 m.p.h.."
Date Of Sighting: 06.04.00 Mr. A. B. describes: "It was 1.30am, on Thursday 6th April, we traveling on the A163 and we where halfway between the Londesborough roundabout and Middleton, when we noticed a red - orangey - yellow object. It was a kind of oblong shape with a round end, like a ball. As we went around the bend, the object was in front of us. It seemed to be stationary. After a brilliant brightness of 3 or 4 seconds, the object was no longer there, I have never encountered such a brightness like this before."
Date Of Sighting: 06.04.00 R. B. tells me: " It was dark night with clear skies and the stars were clearly visible. When we were traveling down the A163, I noticed a redy - orangey - yellow oblong object with a round ball on the end of it. The object appeared to be stationary, then there was this brilliant light, it only lasted a few seconds and then everything was gone!"
Date Of Sighting: 06.04.00
D. B. also confirms: "I was sat in the back of the car and I witnessed the whole area light up by this bright white light, it was so
bright you could see as far as your eyes could let you. There is nothing, I can describe can compare to the brightness we witnessed.
All I can say it was an amazing experience."
Date Of Sighting: 29.07.00a
"I was in town with my boyfriend when I spotted a Silvery Cigar Shaped object in the sky. It was about the size of a pen held at arms length.
It was partly cloudy and the Sun was visible and at first I thought it could have been a plane, but there appeared to be no wings or trail! I lost
sight of the object through some clouds."
Date Of Sighting: 29.07.00b
"My girlfriend and I where in the town center, when she spotted a Cigar Shaped object in the sky. It was about the size of a thin pen held at
arms length and silver in colour. It was partly cloudy and the Sun was visible. The sun seemed to reflect off the object. There were no wings
apparent or contrail, but the object was moving in a straight line."
Date Of Sighting: ??.08.00
The date of this sighting was not given and the witness did not want to fill out a sighting report form. These details were passed to me second
hand over the phone: "I saw 2 objects in the night sky at about 10.00pm traveling West to East. They appeared to be round at the front and
bull nosed at the back. They were a dull slate colour with no flashing lights. I seem to remember that there was a couple of AWAKS in the
sky, they must have seen them as well."
Date Of Sighting: 07.08.00
"I can down to use the loo and looked outside like I do everynight. It was a clear night and you could even see the Milky Way clearly when
I noticed 2 big blancmange type objects to my right, very low down. They appeared to be hovering there silently. They didn't look as though
they were made of metal, more like clouds. As they hovered side by side, they must have noticed me, because seconds later they shot off,
still flying in formation, side by side, as if they were racing each other and trying to impress me! I felt privileged to have witnessed this
amazing sighting."
Date Of Sighting: 25.08.00
"In the direction of S/SW from our house, this apparent "Window" in the sky was first noticed at roughly 9.00pm and at first I thought it
was the Moon behind the clouds. At 10.00pm it was still in the same position, 11.00pm still hadn't budged. I went to bed and read for
a while. When I last looked at 2.45am, it was still there, but almost faded. It was cloudy and windy all night with clouds moving from
the East to the West. Even when the clouds moved across the light pale blue area, it was still visible. It looked like a bit of a distant
daytime blue sky!"
Date Of Sighting: 06.09.00
"I had been drinking that night, but was not excessive. I had 3½ pints over the course of the evening and on my way home, me and one of my
friends saw what can only be described as a Moving Star! It was moving in a straight line at first as it went behind some trees, it then seemed to
sway, up and down in the night sky until we lost sight of it?"
