SCOTTISH UFO PHOTOGRAPHS

In Aprils newsletter I asked members if they had any ufo photographs they would like to see printed in future issues. I had two photographs sent in by Joe from UFORTH a Scottish website which I’d like to thank him for. although Joe is not a member of E2WUFOS I send him copies of our newsletter. Grangemouth UFO Photograph

This first photograph was taken by a professional photographer who was taking night photos at bp in grangemouth and took this photograph as the UFO was directly above him. Joe got this photograph from the fortunecity website, whic is unavailible at the minute. The second UFO photograph Joe sent in was the one below taken by a canadian student on holiday in stirling. Joe had seen this same UFO earlier in Grangemouth 2 months before and it was by sheer chance he saw it on another scottish website asking for any information on it.

As most of you probably know already Gary Heseltine (Of PRUFOS fame) and Russel Callaghan has launched an online monthly magazine called Ufomonthly. You can subscribe to the magazine by visiting ufomonthly.com.

I downloaded the first free issue, I don’t think I will subscribe to it.

E2WUFOS Members Sighting

One of our members Paul from edinburgh has given me permission to print details of this sighting he had on 8th may 2001.

Paul’s Sighting

I was in a vehicle with three others returning from visiting a friend in stirling.the day was a bright sunny one with clear visibility and wisps of white cloud.a few miles before the m9 cutoff to edinburgh center,my colleague jan and i spotted an elongated white featureless object in the sky,appearing stationary at a height of approximately 1,0000 feet viewed from a range of around a mile.

As this was close to the vicinity of edinburgh airport,we constantly monitored the attitude and appearance of the object in relation to any other aircraft visible at the time.its appearance was different in that it was both featureless and motionless.as the car turned off the motorway towards edinburgh,the objects view was obscured by the roadside,though we agreed that the next projected view of its position should be a clearer one.approximately 5-10 seconds later,the same area of sky became visible again with no sign of the object anywhere in the clear sky.

Crop Circles?



I would really like to know what our members think of the crop circle phenomenon. I have my own views of course but I would like to know yours. For instance has it any connection to UFO`s at all or are they all an elaborate hoax?

General Roger M. Ramey

Gen. Ramey was a major player in the roswell incident, but information on him is hard to come by. Even though he became a fairly important air force general in the early 1950s, for some reason the air force biographical web page on their generals doesn't list him.

Why doesn`t that surprise me.

USA Building Flying Saucers?

What you are about to read is still classified "Top Secret" by the United States Air Force. Now, after 60 years, the true story of the US. involvement into the design and construction of "Flying Saucers" can now finally come to light.

This is not your run-of-the-mill "light in the sky" saucer story. In this case, the dates, names, and locations of very specific personnel and hardware can now be identified, which point to a very "terrestrial" explanation for many of the "UFO" sightings beginning since 1947.

Second Visit To Cairnpapple Hill

The last time we visited Cairnpapple Hill to check it out as a possible skywatch site the actual mound was closed for the winter months. Cathy a E2WUFOS member/moderator and myself went back in April when historic Scotland opens up the actual mound to visitors. Inside the mound there are ancient graves and there is a definate feel about the place.

Mexican Air Force Pilots Film UFO's

(Space news, May 12th, 2004, 11:47 a.m.) Mexican air force pilots filmed 11 unidentified flying objects in the skies over southern Campeche state, a defense department spokesman confirmed Tuesday.

A videotape made widely available to the news media on Tuesday shows the bright objects, some sharp points of light and others like large headlights, moving rapidly in what appears to be a late-evening sky. The lights were filmed on march 5th by pilots using infrared equipment. They appeared to be flying at an altitude of about 11,480 feet, and allegedly surrounded the air force jet as it conducted routine anti-drug trafficking vigilance in Campeche. Only three of the objects showed up on the plane's radar. An exchange between the radar operator and the captain of the surveillance aircraft, as recorded on the tape in Spanish:

Radar Operator: "There they go, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, no, there are eight. There we are going to see them, they go to an unusual speed. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight in the screen."

Captain: "Are they at the same altitude?"

Radar Operator: "Affirmative"

"Was I afraid? Yes. A little afraid because we were facing something that had never happened before," said radar operator

A marine in a taped interview made public on Tuesday said "I couldn't say what it was ... But I think they're completely real," added lt. Mario adrian Vazquez, the infrared equipment operator. Vazquez insisted that there was no way to alter the recorded images. The plane's captain, Major Magdaleno Castanon, said the military jets chased the lights "and I believe they could feel we were pursuing them." When the jets stopped following the objects, they disappeared!" he said.

A defence department spokesman confirmed Tuesday that the videotape was filmed by members of the Mexican air force. The spokesman declined to comment further and spoke on customary condition of anonymity.

The video was first aired on national television Monday night then again at a news conference Tuesday by Jaime Maussan, a Mexican investigator who has dedicated the past 10 years to studying UFO's. "This is historic news," Maussan told reporters. "Hundreds of videos (Of UFO’s) exist, but none had the backing of the armed forces of any country. ... The armed forces don't perpetuate frauds."

Maussan said secretary of defence gen. Ricardo Vega Garcia gave him the video on April 22nd. © mmiv cbs broadcasting inc. All rights reserved.
