What Is A UFO?
History is full of stories of strange apparitions in the sky. But it was only after world war 2 that these sightings attracted serious attention. It all really began on June the 24th
1947 when Kenneth Arnold reported seeing a formation of gleaming discs flying over the rocky mountains in north west America. he described them as “skipping like saucers across water”,
the name quickly captured the public imagination.
An official investigation adopted the more cautious name of unidentified flying object (UFO).all strange sightings in the sky after that became known as UFO`s.

This month I thought I would include some photographs of UFO S from around the world. if this proves to be successful it could turn into a regular feature in the newsletter. if you have any photographs of UFO S you would like to see included please send them in to me.

I am still looking without much luck for a venue for our next meeting. The last meeting at my home went very well but we need a bigger place to accommodate everybody who wants to
attend. I would welcome suggestions.
Contactee Support Group
One of our members Michael Rutherford who lives in London wants to start up a group for people having had contact experiences. If you live in the London area and want to talk to someone about your experiences Michael will listen by phone or e-mail. Michael feels that in the UK there is not much help for this type of contact. The meetings would be held at Michael’s home address as soon as enough people interested get in touch with him. So don’t feel alone pick up the phone and give Michael a call. Contactee Help
While we are on the subject of contactees. One of our members who will remain nameless has had various sightings and contact like experiences during his lifetime. This member told me he would like to talk to a professional person to try and make sense of his experiences and could I put him in touch with anyone who could help. I looked around and contacted David Coleman of Scottish unexplained phenomena research who kindly offered to give his professional help to our member. David Coleman is a trained counsellor and he agreed to see the member in question and for that I would like to thank him, thanks David.

Starting this month I will be including extracts from the above publication.
Abductions the abductees have in almost every case been studied by aliens. they performed surgical operations, collected sperm, ova samples and tissues of all kinds. in some cases implants could be found.
Adamski, George Adamski was born in Poland on 17th april 1891.adamski claims that he met people from mars, Venus and Saturn. he took photographs of these so called aliens and UFO S but most of them where proven to be hoaxes.
Afosi air force office of special investigations. their headquarters are located at bolling air force base.
Apro aerial phenomena research organisation. founded in 1952 by Jim and Corel Lorenzen, their headquarters were in Tucson Arizona. Now defunct it was the worlds longest running ufo group.
Tony Dodd/UFO Detective
I am currently reading a book alien investigator by Tony Dodd. In his book he tells of a south African air force plane shooting down a ufo over the central Kalahari desert on may the 7th 1989.his contact told him the ufo was recovered undamaged, together with two of its occupants, who apparently survived.
Within days a team of experts arrived from the Wright Patterson air force base in America. His contact told him they then took the ufo and its occupants back with them to the united states amid very tight security.
I would be grateful if any of our members has any information on this incident they could give let me have.
Alien Abduction Off The East Yorkshire Coast?
Captain William Schaffner
Britain’s most plausible alien abduction happened off the east Yorkshire coast, according to some ufologists.
The incident happened in September 1970.foxtrot 94 an RAF lightning fighter jet crashed into the north sea. Ufologists claim its pilot captain William Schaffner was abducted by an alien spacecraft after he’d scrambled to intercept it off flam borough head.
The aircraft was recovered 3 months later from the seabed. remarkably it was virtually undamaged. the cockpit canopy was shut but there was no sign of captain Schaffer’s body. the unusual condition of the wreckage fueled Ufologists speculation of an alien abduction.

I would also like to welcome another new member to the group Steven. he comes from Dunbartonshire, you may have seen him in the e2wufos forum as stormwatch where he moderates two sections.
